Inmate dies at Beaver Creek
Corrections Canada report that on Wednesday, April 17, Gary Beach, an inmate from Beaver Creek Institution, died of apparent natural causes, while in custody.
The CSC says that at the time of death, the inmate had been serving an indeterminate sentence, which commenced in 1970, for non-capital murder and intimidate with threats of violence.
As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) will review the circumstances and the coroner will be notified.
