Regular visiting hours resumes after 10 cases were confirmed clear
Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare has declared a COVID-19 outbreak over at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital.
The respiratory outbreak on the hospital’s North Wing lasted 13 days, with seven patient cases and three staff cases confirmed through testing.
The affected unit has now reopened to visitors. Under MAHC’s current policy, inpatients can receive two visitors per day between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.
