Huntsville Festival to mark National Day Day For Truth & Reconciliation

A documentary will be screened along with a performance by Juno-nominated Métis fiddler Brianna Lizotte

The Huntsville Festival of the Arts is inviting the community to mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation tomorrow night at Canvas Brewing Company.

The evening starts at 7 with a screening of The Apology, a documentary about the 2022 Indigenous delegation to the Vatican. Filmmaker Matt LeMay will be on hand to share reflections.

After the film, JUNO-nominated Métis fiddler Brianna Lizotte will perform. The free, family-friendly event opens at 6:30, and details are at huntsvillefestival.ca.
