Huntsville is rolling out its 2025 capital projects for roads, sidewalks, and bridges, with most of the work scheduled for spring and summer.
The plan, approved as part of the town’s budget, focuses on replacing aging infrastructure before major issues arise. Projects include road resurfacing, bridge repairs, sidewalk upgrades, and culvert replacements.
Emergency weather events like flooding can also push assets to the top of the repair list. Construction is set to begin shortly.

Road Reconstruction
- Yonge Street North – Main Street to Avery Beach
- Lindgren Road West – Highway 11 to Bickley Ford
- Ferguson Road – Main Street West to Ferguson Road
- East Airport Road – Ferguson Road to end
Gravel/Shoulder Work
- Cardwell Lake Road – 1.7 km West of Yearly Road to MLB
Ditch and Culvert Work
- Otter Lake Road – West Browns to end
- Madeline Street – Iris Street to end
- East Browns Road – Canal Road to end
- Clearwater Lake Road – Estonian Camp Road to end
- Iris Street – West Road to Madeline Street
- Rockhaven Road – Ceramic Mine Road to end
- Ontario Street – Muskoka Road 10 to north end
Brushing (clearing roadside vegetation and growth)
- Clear Water Lake Road – Estonian Camp Road to end
- Rockhaven Road – Ceramic Mine Road to end
- Pitman’s Bay Road – Rowanwood Road to end
- Sinclair Road – Ravenscliffe Road to end
- Whitehouse Road – Brunel Road to South Portage Road
