Motorists could see the convoy on major highways
The Canadian Armed Forces will be conducting a training exercise this weekend, involving a convoy of military vehicles and aircraft. From April 25 to 27, about 100 army vehicles will travel along highways 400, 69, and 11 as part of the operation. The Royal Canadian Air Force will also be conducting air movements in the North Bay area. Muskoka residents may notice increased military traffic, as the convoy passes through the region. This exercise, aimed at enhancing the military's readiness for emergencies like floods and wildfires, will involve planned stops for rest, fuel, and maintenance. Authorities urge residents to exercise caution around military vehicles.
