Ontario Provincial Police say officers were conducting a Festive RIDE checkpoint around 9:45 that morning when they stopped a vehicle and suspected the driver was impaired by alcohol.

He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court in Bracebridge in January.
