Hydro One says customers will see restoration of power starting at around 4pm
Thousands of residents across Muskoka and the Almaguin Highlands are without power after last night’s storm caused outages through the region.
Hydro One says crews are working to restore electricity to affected communities, with outages reported in several rural and urban areas including Huntsville and surrounding townships.
Officials have not yet confirmed the cause of the disruptions, but say repair work is ongoing and power is expected to be restored starting at 4pm, as crews complete assessments and repairs across the network.
