ATV driver dies after hitting tree

A tragic ATV accident occurred in Highlands East on September 13th.
Haliburton Highlands OPP and local fire services responded to the scene on Bryans Road around 6:53 p.m. The ATV, which was driven by a 44-year-old man from Lindsay, crashed into a tree.
The driver was pronounced dead before police arrived.
The Central Region Traffic Incident Management Team and the Office of the Chief Coroner are investigating. If you have any information, contact the OPP.
