Bay loses world's oldest radio host

We’re sad to report that the radio station lost one of our own on Friday. Ethel Taylor or ET as she’s known passed away at the age of 99 – just 38 days short of her 100th birthday.
ET, was the host of the Sunday evening “Martini Music” show, and had garnered a huge following. Ethel, who took over the show at 92, following the death of James Carroll, amassed almost 500 episodes and ended the show with the line, “I’ll be back next week – if I’m still alive.”
Ethel was a force of nature and will be missed. Plans to continue with the show will continue, because even when she was in the hospital, she said the show must go on!
