Gravenhurst dealing with glass at local beaches

The Town of Gravenhurst says recent reports of glass and sharp objects at area beaches prompted temporary closures for safety.
Muskoka Bay Park and Muskoka Beach Park have since reopened after maintenance, but Lorne Street Beach is currently closed while staff address similar hazards.
The public is urged to report any suspicious activity to the OPP and to use designated garbage cans to keep the beaches safe and clean.
