Gravenhurst woman wins $1 million

A Gravenhurst woman is a $1 million winner playing with ENCORE. The longtime lottery player matched all seven ENCORE numbers in June, marking her first major win at the OLG Prize Centre.

Wendy Dwyer, who bases her numbers on significant birthdays, was shocked to discover her win while scanning her ticket, saying she was frozen.

Dwyer hasn’t yet decided how to use her winnings.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Palmeri’s Your Independent Grocer in Gravenhurst.
