Huntsville driver charged with being under the influence

On Sunday night, Huntsville OPP officers observed a vehicle making multiple traffic violations in the downtown area.
Police say that after conducting a traffic stop, they determined the female driver, the 29-year-old Huntsville woman was under the influence of a substance. She admitted to consuming drugs recently and was taken for drug testing.
The driver was charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs.
Her case is set for April 15, in a Bracebridge court.
The vehicle, belonging to a friend, was impounded for 7 days, and the driver received a 90-day driver's license suspension.
