Huntsville provides updates on roads projects
As summer winds down, the Town of Huntsville is providing updates on major road projects in our area.
The Town says:
Minerva Street between Centre and West Streets, has reopened as of August 21st, with all reconstruction and resurfacing work completed. Silver Street from West Road to Thunder Bridge Road is finished, featuring a new asphalt surface and improved ditching. East Elliot from Yonge to Wilmott Streets is now open, with fresh asphalt, new catch basins, and storm pipes in place.
As well, Kitchen Road South, between Main Street West and Cairns Crescent, has also been completed with new asphalt and road base patching.
Dara Howell Way now has new streetlights.
And high float and gravel work has been completed on various roads, and slurry seal work is set to begin at the end of August.
