My Sustainable Life
Show Schedule:
- Saturday - 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM
- Sunday - 11:00 PM to 11:30 PM
Just what is sustainable living?
Tiny homes, purging all that stuff, growing your own food, relief from financial stress, clean energy and electric cars, freedom from the grid?
What are we really looking for in our quality of life?
This is news and conversations with your fellow Muskokans.
Innovation, resourcefulness, simplicity.
Is this the road to happiness?
Marc Mantha’s Bio
Raised a northern boy who moved to Toronto for career, where an unexpected reputation developed. One of fixing broken businesses and building new ones. Anything other executives were uncomfortable with, I ran towards.
Success (whatever that means) for me had nothing to do with experience. I was just a keen observer with unexpected solutions. Best practices are great, but I prefer to live in the world of “what if” and taking it on. Besides, it’s a lot more fun. I worked hard in the city, always knowing that balance was the key to creativity and good health, even in the big smoke.
Then…
I started moving back to my roots.
Muskoka was the perfect setting to walk my talk.
Right sizing my life. A more sustainable life. But now, I see more…
My community is poised for incredible opportunities. But it’s timely.
We need to rethink “community” design. Highly “inclusive” communities.
It’s more than home design, architecture and developments.
It doesn’t have a label yet. But it’s coming. We’re working on it.
I’m immersed in my community. I swim in it most every day.
And I still haven’t found a use calculus.
