Bracebridge Barrel House Set To Open This Spring
Yesterday, Lake of Bays Brewery showed off its progress and the plans for its newest restaurant – The Bracebridge Barrel House. While the new space is still in the midst of construction, CEO Darren Smith said he hopes the new facility will be open in early spring.
Similar to the Huntsville Brew House, specialty beers will be brewed on site – some in 4ft by 10ft high wooden barrels – offering patrons barrel-aged and experimental beers, as well as Lake Of Bays regular beer lineup and a locally sourced menu as well as entertainment by local musicians.
The Barrelhouse will boast 4,200 sq. ft. spread over two floors with seating for 125 people, and is a $1.3 million investment in Bracebridge by the company.
Mayor Graydon Smith expressed his excitement and welcomed the company to town, saying he’ll be back for the ribbon cutting and to sample some of the offerings.
