Bracebridge holding info sessions on new fire hall
Bracebridge residents are invited to participate in public consultation sessions regarding the new Bracebridge Fire Department Station 2 to be located on Uffington Road.
Two sessions will be held at Station 1 on Taylor Road, on July 9 from 4 to 6 p.m. and July 13 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Residents can view renderings of the new building, engage with fire department members, and take tours of a modern fire station.
Feedback from these sessions will influence the final design of Station 2 and future parkland development on the property.
The town says new location aims to enhance firefighter safety, increase service levels, improve water supply, achieve accreditation savings, enhance health and safety standards, and increase volunteer firefighter staff in densely populated areas.
The station's design and construction will be part of the 2025 and 2026 Municipal Budget and Business Plans.
