Cadet's Spaghetti Dinner returns on March 25th
The 844 Norseman Air Cadets in Huntsville are thrilled to be offering their biannual Spaghetti Dinner for the first time in almost 3 years.
On Saturday March 25th, stop by the Legion anytime between 4:30-8:00pm to enjoy a delicious meal prepared and served by the Cadets themselves. Dinner will include spaghetti with meat or vegetable sauce, bread, caesar salad and dessert. A Cash Bar will also be available.
Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased from Cadets, at the Legion or at the door. By the way - Children 5 and under are FREE!
While you're there you can also check out their Silent Auction, filled with some interesting and generous offerings from local businesses and supporters of the Cadet program. Some of the local sponsors include: Outcast Fishing & Convenience, Big Daddy's Meats, Mottbora Sushi, Canadian Tire, Henrietta's Bakery, Minds Alive, Muskoka Rock, Capstone Market, Moose Delaney's, FreshCo, Valley Feeds and many more!
All funds raised at the event will go directly to the local 844 squadron and support their cadet activities.
The Cadet Program offers a wide variety of activities for the youth in our community. Apart from their parade and meeting nights (each Wednesday), teams like Biathalon, Orienteering, and Marksmanship, as well as Band, Flag Party and Drill teams, are completely voluntary and open for Cadets to try-out and participate in throughout the year. Cadets are even able to work on other life skills such as leadership, sportsmanship and effective speaking and have opportunities to earn volunteer hours serving in the community.
Do you have someone in your household between the ages of 12-18? Curious about what the program has to offer? Stop by the Legion on any of our regular parade nights – Wednesdays between 6:30-9pm and see what we're all about.
If you have questions about our event, or to get in touch with questions about the Cadet program, please feel free to reach out to Jennifer Turney 705-349-3565.
