Criminal Investigation Branch investigates death in Magnetawan

The Almaguin Highlands OPP is investigating a death in Magnetawan.
Police say that yesterday, at around 9:00 a.m., officers responded to Kirkpatrick's Road and Highway 124, where a deceased person was found.
Investigators have indicated there is no threat to public safety, but residents may notice an increased police presence in the area.
The OPP Crime Unit, Criminal Investigation Branch, Forensic Identification Services, and the Office of the Chief Coroner are all involved in the investigation.
