Driver charged with impaired after hitting the ditch on Hwy 11

A 33-year-old man from Bonfield Township has been arrested for impaired driving in Burk’s Falls.
OPP responded to a call on Thursday at around 6 p.m. regarding a small black SUV in a ditch on Highway 11 near Burk's Falls.
The caller reported that the male driver appeared to be impaired. Police arrived shortly after and arrested the driver, who was later identified as William (Colby) Palmer-Lambert.
The vehicle was towed and impounded and the driver faces charges of operating a vehicle while impaired by alcohol and with a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Sundridge on March 13, 2025.
