Driver charged with impaired, assault and theft of a vehicle

The Almaguin Highlands OPP have laid multiple charges following a single-vehicle collision in Ryerson Township early this morning.
Police say that at around 1am on Wednesday, officers responded to a stolen vehicle report and found the vehicle in a ditch on Highway 520. A nearby individual, identified as 31-year-old Sean Snoddon of St. Catharines, identified himself as the driver.
Snoddon now faces charges including impaired operation, assault, taking a motor vehicle without consent, and multiple counts of driving under suspension.
The accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sundridge on January 9th.
