The Sprucedale Fire Department says they recently completed training for the use of Naloxone and have kits on their trucks. The Kearney Fire and Emergency Services will have the Naloxone Nasal spray Opioid antidote kits on all their Emergency Vehicles by the end of the month.

The kits can be used when responding to an opioid overdose call and can be used to treat a First Responder should they come in contact with an opioid.
