Flood watch in effect for the Black River
A Flood Watch is in effect for the Black River in Bracebridge until March 26, according to the Ministry of Natural Resources.
Recent rainfall, snowmelt, and warm temperatures have led to rising water levels and faster-moving currents.
The town is advising that residents in flood-prone areas should take precautions to protect property and stay alert to changing conditions.
The Flood Outlook for the Muskoka River Watershed remains in effect until March 21.
