Huntsville anticipates supporting MAHC's redevelopment plan at next council meeting
The Town of Huntsville says that following Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare’s (MAHC) presentation to Huntsville’s General Committee on June 26 and their subsequent announcement on July 2 regarding redevelopment plans, the July 22nd Council Meeting will host a discussion on supporting MAHC’s healthcare proposal.
Mayor Nancy Alcock says she’s looking forward to the upcoming meeting, affirming Huntsville’s commitment to endorsing the current redevelopment plan. She emphasized Huntsville's proactive engagement in advocating for enhanced healthcare across the region.
The Town of Huntsville says they remain dedicated to actively participating in MAHC's hospital planning process, aiming to foster ongoing dialogue among stakeholders to ensure that the finalized plans, to be submitted to the Ministry of Health this fall, accurately reflect the community's healthcare needs for the long term.
