Huntsville councilors to decide whether to release info on cyber incident
Huntsville Councilor Scott Morrison, speaking with Hunters Bay Radio, says that a meeting to disclose information on the hacking at Huntsville Town Hall is forthcoming.
In previous interviews with Morrison, he cited the reason for not disclosing the magnitude of the cyber incident, was fear of retaliation by the hackers if details were to be made public, legal advice, and having to go through “the process” before releasing any information to the public.
Morrison says that most of council wants to release information and a meeting is forthcoming, where council will discuss the issue and decide what information to release and how much.In
