Huntsville Public Library looks to expand
Huntsville Council received a presentation from David Tremblay, CEO of Huntsville Public Library, and Ray Love from the Library Board, on the Library’s building needs at the last council meeting.
The Library gathered community input in 2023 to identify future priorities for a new or renovated library. They propose expanding the library’s footprint to meet projected population growth, suggesting a space of 25,000 to 30,000 square feet by 2031.
The Library will now engage with Town Finance and Facilities staff to explore budget options, which expected to be presented to Council as part of the 2025-2026 Budget process.
