Kawartha Credit Union highlights revenue and charitable giving at AGM
Kawartha Credit Union’s 70th Annual General Meeting was held virtually on Wednesday March 30th. Kawartha’s members received the Board of Directors report on another successful year.
Norah McCarthy, President and Chief Executive Officer told the meeting that “Total assets grew by $98 million, or 5%, to end the year at over $2 billion. We earned a net income of $10.8 million and paid $1.1 million to our members in the form of profit sharing,” she said.
Crystal Dayman, Executive Vice President, Marketing & Corporate Communications added “Kawartha was pleased to continue to give back to our branch communities in 2021, contributing $233,860 to local charitable and social support organizations.”
Kawartha Credit Union has local branches in Huntsville, Bracebridge, Parry Sound, Burk's Falls and South River.
