Lake of Bays seeks input on proposed official plan

The Township of Lake of Bays is continuing its review and update of its Official Plan, which guides land use and development in the community.
After completing Phase One, staff are now moving into Phase Two, focusing on background research and public engagement. As part of this, the township is hosting a virtual Public Information Session on January 29, 2025, from 1 to 3 p.m., where residents can learn about the project and provide input.
Discussion papers on topics like climate change, future growth, and shoreline development are available for review on the township’s website.
The findings will also be presented to Council following the session.
