MAHC says it will carefully consider feedback from Community Chats
Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare issued a statement today that says it is reaffirming its dedication to carefully considering the hospital redevelopment proposal.
The team emphasizes the importance of community consultation in shaping a sustainable and affordable model of care across two new hospitals and that they appreciate the feedback received from community engagements and direct communication with leaders like Parry Sound-Muskoka MPP Graydon Smith and local mayors.
The MAHC says it will thoroughly review all input to ensure the development of the right solution for all of the communities served.
Further, ongoing consultations are planned with medical staff and a second community meeting is scheduled for February 12, 2024, in Bracebridge.
The MAHC says that the Capital Redevelopment Project Team will maintain open communication with all stakeholders throughout the process.
