MNR issues Flood Outlook Bulletin
Area residents are advised by the Ministry of Natural Resources of a Watershed Conditions Statement. A Flood Outlook Bulletin is in effect until July 19th.
This affects parts of Parry Sound, Muskoka, Haliburton, and Kawartha Lakes watersheds.
Remnants of Hurricane Beryl, now weakened, are merging with a North American trough, bringing moisture to southern Ontario.
Up to 100mm of rain is possible, with flood-prone areas at highest risk. Caution is urged near water and forest roads due to potential flooding and washouts. Please maintain close supervision of children and pets along shorelines.
