MNRF Asks For Help Identifying Fishers
Officers with the MNRF are seeking the public’s assistance locating suspected illegal fishers.
The Ministry says the incident occurred in March at the south end of Lake Muskoka near Gravenhurst.
Officers received information that fishermen setting lines and then leaving them overnight on March 23rd and 24th.
Officers are trying to identify who the men are and would like to speak to them.
Fishing lines that sit unchecked, can target prohibited size fish, that could be caught and may spoil.
