Muskoka Hits New Record With 40 Active COVID-19 Cases
The Health Unit reported 8 new COVID-19 cases in Muskoka yesterday, bringing the total active cases to a record 40. The cases involve 3 people in Bracebridge, 3 in Gravenhurst and 2 in Huntsville.
Currently, there are no hospitalizations, but 3 deaths have been reported since the pandemic started.
The health unit reports 248 cases yesterday in both Simcoe and Muskoka and includes results from January 1st and 2nd.
Nearly one-third of all active cases are among young adults 18-34 years.
