The province reported 409 new COVID-19 cases and one new death on Friday. The total includes one new case in Bracebridge, a 45-64 woman, connected to an institutional outbreak. The woman is self-isolating.
283 cases are resolved.
There are a total of 48,905 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ontario.
More than 41,800 tests were completed.
There are 204 new cases in Toronto, 66 cases in Peel, 33 cases in the York Region, and 40 cases in Ottawa.
65% of cases are in people under the age of 40.
