New Veterinary Clinic coming to west end of Huntsville
A site plan for the construction of a new 178 m2 veterinary clinic on 228 Main Street West in Huntsville has been approved.
In the June 15, 2022, Huntsville Planning and Development Committee meeting, Council approved the application for the plan.
According to the plan, this new development will also enhance the existing property and the appearance of Main Street West.
Although minor amendments are still required, it’s not expected they will significantly alter the current proposed plan.
The plan, in line with the Town’s direction regarding Economic Considerations to “promote a diverse and prosperous economy by attracting innovation, growing a knowledge-based economy, [and] providing adequate training, developing green jobs, and offering sustainable year-round employment to retain Huntsville’s youth.” It also supports the social and environmental well being of the community.
The building was previously the home of Algonquin Orthopaedics, near Algonquin Cafe.
