Nurses Association opposes Made in Muskoka Healthcare plan
The Ontario Nurses’ Association, led by President Erin Ariss, is determined to halt the reduction of healthcare services in Muskoka.
Ariss and local healthcare professionals are advocating for the preservation of comprehensive care at Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare.
They oppose the replacement of registered nurses with less-skilled workers and are committed to ensuring that essential services remain accessible locally. Their goal is to prevent residents from facing risks and inconvenience in seeking necessary care.
The association stance follows a letter of opposition signed by 41 Doctors in the Bracebridge area who oppose the proposed Made in Muskoka Healthcare plans.
