OPP raise concerns over ATV riders
The Almaguin Highlands OPP have raised concerns after recent ATV patrols in the area.
Police say that on July 24th and 25th, officers found an ATV with a 2.5-year-old passenger wearing only a bicycle helmet and a side-by-side with a 2-year-old in a loose car seat.
They also discovered three unlicensed youth operators and towed four ATVs for lacking insurance.
Common violations included driving with young passengers, allowing unlicensed drivers, and failing to use helmets.
