Police arrest 75 year old driver with impaired

Almaguin Highlands OPP have charged a Barrie man with impaired driving following a traffic complaint.
Police say that on Tuesday, around 10 p.m., police responded to a call about a suspected impaired driver on Deer Lake Road in Perry Township.
Officers found the vehicle off the road in a ditch.
After further investigation, 75-year-old Maurice Kmyta was arrested and taken to a detachment for testing.
Kmyta faces charges including impaired driving, failing to comply with probation, and disobeying a stop sign.
He was released and will appear in court on January 9th, 2025.
