Police charge driver after running into the rear of another vehicle at seatbelt check

Huntsville OPP arrested and charged a driver following a collision at a Seatbelt Enforcement check over the Easter Long Weekend. On March 31, 2024, around 4:55 p.m., a vehicle rear-ended another on Highway 60 to Highway 11 Southbound, where officers were ensuring seatbelt compliance.
Ian WATSON, 34, from Bracebridge, was charged with impaired driving, driving with cannabis and liquor readily available, and driving with an open container of liquor. He is scheduled to appear in Bracebridge's Ontario Court of Justice on May 21, 2024.
