Police tipped off after beer cans thrown out of vehicle

Police have charged a driver with impaired driving following an incident that took place at 1:15 a.m. this morning.
OPP say they received reports about a vehicle on Muskoka Beach Road in Gravenhurst, where occupants were seen throwing a beer can out of the window.
Police located the vehicle at a nearby restaurant and arrested 33-year-old Fraser Meckiffe from Mississauga.
He was charged with Operation While Impaired and will appear in court in Bracebridge on October 5, 2024, to face the charges.
