Province Announces $2,000,000 in School Funding
MPP Norm Miller says that new funding for Central Ontario students is coming to the riding. In a release, he said that over 2 million dollars is being invested in math programs for students in school boards in Parry Sound, Muskoka and Haliburton. Miller says that he is proud that the government is making the investment, and that it will help local students build the math knowledge and skills they need to succeed now and in the future. He also said that changes have been made to the Career Studies curriculum, which he says will be an important pathway for the future of youth in the riding. A full list of changes is in our story at Muskoka online dot com.
