Province announces funding for Huntsville rehab centre
The Ontario government is investing $654,500 into the De Novo Treatment Centre in Huntsville to support tradespeople dealing with substance abuse.
The funds will be used to research the impact of substance abuse on tradespeople and their families, and to develop advanced educational resources for recovery.
MPP Graydon Smith praised the investment, highlighting its importance for skilled tradespeople and their access to top-tier treatment. This funding is part of Ontario's Skills Development Fund, which has already helped over half a million jobseekers since 2021.
