Residents at Gravenhurst retirement home enjoy special tribute on Remembrance Day
Residents at The Manor in Gravenhurst enjoyed a special tribute to the heroes at the residence on November 11th.
Residents, staff, and community members, including students, made lawn poppies for Remembrance Day.
Michelle Magill, executive director of The Manor at Gravenhurst, said "The Manor has always respected Remembrance Day. Past and present seniors who served in the First and Second World Wars want us to hear their stories. Residents and staff proudly display photos of past and present loved ones and share their stories. This day allows us to remember their sacrifices and honour those who serve our country and protect our freedom
The Manor at Gravenhurst welcomed the public to stop by and enjoy the 2022 Remembrance Day Poppy Project.
