Rider transported to hospital after bike leaves the road

The OPP are looking into a motorcycle accident that occurred on Saturday, September 21^st. Police say that at around 5:15 p.m., they responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision on Bethune Drive near North Shore Drive in Gravenhurst.

Two motorcycles were traveling east when the lead bike left the road, causing the 49-year-old driver from Orillia to be ejected. He was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
