Side by Side driver succumbs to injuries after collision

Almaguin Highlands OPP are investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision involving a side-by-side utility terrain vehicle on Rain Lake Road in Kearney.
The incident occurred on Friday, at around 4 p.m., prompting a response from the OPP, Parry Sound District Paramedic Service, and the Kearney Fire Department.
Both the driver and passenger were ejected from the UTV; the driver was later pronounced deceased at the hospital, while the passenger sustained serious life-altering injuries.
Rain Lake Road was closed for about seven hours following the collision.
Police say more information will be provided as it becomes available.
