Smith's new role strengthens Province's push for more housing
MPP Graydon Smith is taking on a new role in the Ontario government.
In yesterday’s cabinet shuffle, Ontario Premier Doug Ford appointed Graydon Smith as Associate Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing.
Smith, who previously served as Minister of Natural Resources and the President of the Association of Municipalities Ontario, has deep roots in municipal politics, says he’s excited to work with Minister Rob Flack to strengthen municipalities across the province.
He emphasized the incredible potential of Ontario's municipalities and is eager to turn those opportunities into tangible progress, particularly in housing.
Smith's new role marks a shift in the government’s focus on municipal growth and housing solutions.
