Youth faces charges after single vehicle collision
Bracebridge OPP have charged a young person with a variety of offenses relating to a collision that took place early Sunday morning in Muskoka Lakes.
Police say they were dispatched to a single-vehicle collision on Sunday at 2:15 a.m. on Ranwood Road. Officers arrived to find that the occupants had fled the scene. The investigation located the involved parties and as a result police arrested and charged a 17-year-old youth from Etobicoke with:
- Operation While Impaired
- Over 80
- Being a Novice Driver with a Blood Alcohol Concentration Above Zero
- Being a G2 Licence Holder with More passenger than seatbelts
- Fail to Remain, and
- Failing to Report Accident
The accused will appear in Youth Court in Bracebridge on July 6th.
