Bay & Beyond project in Gravenhurst completes Stage 1

The Town of Gravenhurst announced today that Stage 1 of their Bay and Beyond project is now complete.
The $29 million partnership between the District of Muskoka and the Town of Gravenhurst has wrapped up major construction on Bay Street, with all major installations finished for the year.
The town says crews will return in the spring to complete final touches, including applying a smooth asphalt surface and addressing any concerns.
This year’s work included upgrades to James Street, new multi-use trails along Bay Street, and major improvements to aging water and sewer systems.
The project will continue next spring with minimal disruption expected.
