Boil Water Advisory Continues To Be In Effect In Bracebridge
On Sunday, The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit has issued a Boil Water Advisory for Town of Bracebridge water customers, following a water main break resulting in a Bracebridge-wide outage. The issue has been identified and isolated to the Wharf Road area in Bracebridge.
The District says water pressure is slowly being restored to customers, however, a BOIL WATER ADVSISORY is in effect until further notice.
The District says that even if you have water pressure and running water, the advisory is in effect until lifted and is expected to remain in place until the water mains have been flushed and test results have confirmed the water is safe for drinking.
The District says that it is anticipated that the BOIL WATER ADVSISORY will remain in place until the end of the week.
