Bracebridge charge three with impaired on the weekend

Bracebridge OPP have charged three people with impaired driving offenses over the course of the weekend.

Police say that on Friday at 9:00 p.m. a member of the public called police about a vehicle that was in the ditch on Muskoka Road 169 near Redwood Road in Muskoka Lakes Township, the caller stopped to assist and became concerned about the persons ability to drive. Officers responded and subsequently arrested and charged 26-year-old David Baldwin of Gravenhurst, ON with:

  • Operation While Impaired
  • Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition
  • 2 counts of Fail to Comply with Release Order

He was held in custody and will appear in  Court of Justice in Bracebridge on January 31, 2024 to answer to his charges.

On Saturday at 10:00 p.m. Bracebridge OPP officers responded to a dispute between two people who were travelling on Peninsula Road in Gravenhurst. Officers attended, commenced an investigation and arrested and charged 60-year-old Scott Mansbridge of Huntsville, with Impaired Operation. He will appear in Court on February 20, 2024 to answer to his charge.

Yesterday, a member of the public called police to express their concerns about a persons ability to drive after they left an address in Bracebridge. Police located and stopped the vehicle on Bethune Drive in Gravenhurst. As a result of their investigation, police arrested and charged 47-year-old Jennifer Racicot of Gravenhurst with Operation While Impaired- Over 80 She will appear in Court on March 12, 2024 to answer to her charge.
