Crews from multiple Fire Depts. battle fire at waste management facility

On Wednesday at around 3:50 a.m., the Bracebridge Fire Department responded to a fire at a waste management facility on Rosewarne Drive.
Crews arrived to find flames and smoke coming from a 10,000 square foot outdoor refuse pile.
Approximately 20 firefighters from Bracebridge, along with crews from Huntsville-Lake of Bays, Muskoka Lakes, and Gravenhurst, were on scene.
The Ministry of Environment and Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office are investigating the cause. No injuries have been reported.
