Driver charged with impaired at RIDE Check
A Sundridge man has been charged with impaired driving following a R.I.D.E. check on January 12th.
Officers from the Almaguin Highlands OPP stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Tower Road and High Street in Sundridge around noon. After detecting the smell of alcohol, further testing led to the driver’s arrest.
A 33-year-old Sundridge man faces charges of impaired operation, operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration over 80, and driving with an open container of liquor.
The driver scheduled to appear in court on February 20th.
